The Jingyue Area has an abundant reservoir of the ecological resources. It has forests of 100 square kilometers and water surface of nearly 80 square kilometers. Yitong River winds through the area to present a panorama of beautiful banksceneries.
净月高新区拥有三个国家5A级景区——净月潭国家森林公园、伪满皇宫博物院和长影世纪城，拥有中国第一家滑雪博物馆——净月潭瓦萨博物馆，拥有中国最大的农业博览园——长春农博园。
There is simply no place in north China as habitable with completed facilities and brimming with activities. In Jingyue Area there are a state national park, a ManchurianImperialPalaceMuseum, and a movie wonderland.China’s only skiing museum was established here along with the country’s largest agricultural park in its vicinity.
依托净月潭良好的生态资源，从2003年开始，长春与瑞典合作，在净月潭共同举办具有悠久历史的瓦萨国际滑雪节，开展越野滑雪运动，使中国成为继瑞典、美国和日本之后第四个举办瓦萨越野滑雪赛的国家。时至今日，长春净月潭瓦萨国际滑雪节，已经举办了十四届。成为中国目前最大、最具影响力的冬季运动项目。
Thanks to the unparalleled snow resources in Jinyue, in 2003, the cooperation with SwedenVasaloppetbegan and Jingue started to host a leg of the International Vasaloppet. Other three legs are happening in Sweden, the home of Vasaloppet, the United States and Japan. Up till now, Jingyue had hosted 14 consecutive years and made the winter sports event biggest and most famous in the country.
2014年，长春净月潭瓦萨国际滑雪节冲出亚洲，被长距离越野滑雪运动组织罗佩特(Worldloppet)正式接收为成员国，在罗佩特20个成员国中增添了中国国旗。今年是中国长春净月潭瓦萨国际滑雪节第15年举办，越野滑雪专业赛事“经典滑雪赛(Ski Classics)”落户长春净月，为滑雪节再添亮点。
In 2014, Jingyuebecame a member of the Worldloppet family, the longest cross-country ski race with the most massive participation in the world. This year, as the 15thChina Changchun Vasaloppet was hostedin Jingyue, the 7th Season of VismaSki Classicssidetracked a little to northeast China here in Jingyue.
“经典滑雪赛”自2011年由欧洲兴起，是由瑞典瓦萨、意大利马塞隆达、芬兰海图等十项滑雪赛事组成的长距离滑雪锦标赛，今年，中国长春是经典滑雪赛的第三站，参赛阵容将为瓦萨15周年锦上添花。15年间，长春冰雪品牌的国际知名度不断提升，众多国家和地区的世界级滑雪健将来到长春参与赛事。在这里不仅可以看到壮丽、雄伟的雪雕，还可以参与到各种滑雪运动中，在林海雪原中穿行，体验滑雪带来的刺激与激情。
